What’s in education?

The education might be likened to an exciting and challenging journey. It is a journey that you and others make together. You give them encouragement and lovingly provide guidance helping them to progress along the path of life. There is so much for us to learn.

To be truly successful and happy in life, I believe that children must develop moral and spiritual values, learning to distinguish right from wrong. As a parent you will play a major role in what your children learn and how they value and interpret what they learn. There are challenges to be met on this journey. Children are impressionable and from sources outside the family, they can learn many thing that are far from wholesome. As what Satan is a skillful and very experienced educator- but a wicked one indeed. An important step is to take a close look at yourself. You need to set a good example. It is also vital that you accept your responsibility to train your children and take the time needed to do so. Before we consider these points however let us identify the foundation of worthwhile education. The deep understanding of human nature was divinely inspired to point to the foundation of true education. We will be laying the foundation for an education that will make our offspring truly wise. This will help us to put what they learn into proper perspective, not drawing wrong conclusions. They will develop the ability to distinguish both right and wrong. Such a foundation will also help them to remain humble and to avoid what is bad.

Because you are the primary teacher of your children. What they learn from your example will have a profound effect on them. And nothing exerts more influence on a child’s life than parental example. Your dreams ideas values, and interests manifest themselves not only in what you say but also in what you do. From infancy, children learn by carefully observing their parents. Children perceive what is important to their parents and these thing that often become important to young ones.Presumed by present-day demands works and competing interests, parents may be tempted to leave the education of their children to others such as school teachers and child-care professionals. Yet, no one can take the place of a loving, caring parent. You are not perfect and you will make mistakes along the way, but if you sincerely endeavor to do God’s will your children will very likely appreciate your efforts and benefit from them.

Education is a journey that lasts a lifetime. If you and your children loved God, it is a journey that you will be able to enjoy throughout eternity. That is because there will always be more to learn about God, and how we can serve his purpose.

Too many questions

Which is which? Fight for your love? or set them free?

Which is right? forgive then forget? or forget then forgive?

What is really right? I love you because I need you? or I need you because I love you?

To see is to believe or believe to see it?

More importantly, love for a reason? or love is the reason?

Actions speaks louder than words but still word hurts more than action…

Those were the questions I frequently encounter during all of my conversations with my friends. We had a lot of views when we come up with all of this topic. Agree some, disagree some, changing views, debate for a long period of time and still at the end of everything is that all of us comes up with respective thoughts which we basically respects.

We have more views in order to express our thoughts in regards to the topics stated but then in typical ending. Everyone has a freedom to express their thoughts and views, and by that all of us should respect other thoughts.

In the end, still the questions will remain a question.

School Rumble: Scene 5

A teacher were lined up children in the cafeteria of a Catholic Elementary School for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apple. The nun made a note, and posted on the Apple tray, “Take only ONE. God is watching.”

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, “Take all you want. God is watching the apples.”

–nice try….hahahahah…

School Rumble: Scene 4

A teacher was giving a lesson a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said; “Now class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.”

“Yes,” the class said.

“Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn’t run into my feet?”

A little fellow shouted, “’cause your feet ain’t empty.”

School Rumble: Scene 3

The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade then each to buy a copy of the group picture.

“Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, “There’s Jennifer, she’s a lawyer, or that’s Michael, he’s a doctor.”

A small voice at the back of the room rang out, “And there’s the teacher, She’s dead.”

–Uhmm…bad small voice it is…

Total Quality Education between Private and Public Schools

Education is a privilege, no matter what school you’re going to, if you had the fate to finished, you’d be able to finished at any cause.“, that was the description as my Aunt Rose during with their conversation with my mom. They had this topic ever since when my younger brother got in school.

I just wondered why they keep this topic all over again. From the time where my brother attended in high school and until this present they have this topic. I sat near to them and listened to their conversation. I found out that they were evaluating school from private to public. They had weighing things that’s different from the two school.

Private schools had a very good quality of facilities. Students and as well as the teachers may used computer equipments, books and references where in great quality. They had air-conditioned classrooms and well-maintained clean surroundings. Whereas public schools had a limited computer equipments. Not all students and teachers can used the computers. Some school where there computers are intended to school processing of reports and necessary record printouts. Some public school had wall fans to at least minimized the intense heat that what students and teacher feels during classes. Public schools had a limited supply of books, although our government agencies had gone to manipulate the problem but still had a lack of budget of it. And besides not all public schools can be able to manage with our government agencies and accommodate all necessary needs with the school. Other public schools where haven’t all of these, no computers, no formal notes and books, no proper classrooms. “I remembered my mom said when she was still studying they have their lectures underneath on a big tree in their school, where supposed to be their classroom for almost a year.”

They’d come up for that evaluation. They keep on a cycle on that thing. I just don’t know why they like this topic ever since. The difference between the past education was far behind from todays evolution. My mom always says that lucky are we that we had finished our study, because in their time? they almost got sacrifice all of their wealth. They have to take a walk for almost 10kms back and forth everyday only to go to school. Maybe they simply like to keep comparing the times that they had in school and todays generation.

It seems that they totally valued the things and aspects of a school in order to a person to learn and improve ones self. It was maybe a far different from their time but actually it had only one aspect that both the past and the present had in the same. Although the aspect of teaching, facilities and equipment are changing, whether it is private or public school still the main aspect was for us to learn and be more knowledgeable enough in order for us to prepare ourselves to live better in todays and to the future.

Teacher Factor

I got a frustrating realization about my encounter conversation to a friend.

I have this friend who’s a teacher and she’s teaching for two years on computer related subjects at one of the college school. She was graduated at the school she’s working. She work as a part-time teacher.

She said before that teaching is a difficult job for her to worked. That it is a call of duty to teach students very well and at most very satisfactory, total quality of education. She often thinks that she’s not an effective teacher to her students. It seems like she thinks negatively, well I can’t blame her. I just wondered why is she thinks that way? In the other hand, she have this determination and very strong personality to develop her skills in teaching.

As I go along with the conversation. I’ve just found out that teaching is not really on her field of interest, but she grabbed the chance of opportunity in order to learn and explore something new. I was thinking that time that she’s come up on a challenge in teaching career.

She seems like very depressed when she talk about her teaching stuff. She have this mixed emotions in every single words she describes about in being a teacher. She confessed that she felt guilty every time she failed a students. She’s having a hard time also on how to manipulate the grades of her students. She thinks more on the students where in a “hangaroo“, as what she describe it, or those students had a fifty-fifty grade. It’s a cause of headache on her part if she’ll going to pass the student or not.

She admitted that in some other way she’s like a terror-good instructor. In some times, she might be able to give passing grade to those students with effort but some times she failed it brutally.

According to her testimony, sometimes she doesn’t know where is she going to place herself in equilibrium. She doesn’t even know if she’s teaching on a right way. She had a very good heart as I knew her, and besides the school will not going to take her a lift for two years if she’s not good in her teaching skills or rather based on her aspect of performance in school. I felt pity on her side. She must be in the middle of the two rocks pulling together.

As an end, she’s still working and currently teaching at the college school up to this present.

“This was a conversation between me, myself and I.”
